Has anyone else had major blogger issues? I'm actually having to load this from work....shhhhh!
I'll be quick. Here is the new sketch over at Sketches in Thyme, challenge 17....
This is the last one by Helen Croft for a little while. I loved working with it. I think I just drew great inspiration from it.
I used my new Boo Crew October Lucky Girl Crafts Kit to create this one.
I love the apricot color of the cardstock and that fun Bo Bunny striped paper. And what about that gingham plaid piece of fabric? The alphas are from on old Lucky Girl kit. The pumpkin and the overlay are from my stash.
I hope you'll get to play along with us this week!

Giggle....
Good Morning,
Today is reveal day at The Sisterhood. Our challenge this week is to use three or more flowers as embellishments on your project. Here is my clean and simple card.
I really wanted to use this little giggle ticket for my sentiment. So I chose this fun pink patterned paper from The Paper Studio, a ribbon from my scrap drawer, and three flowers. I inked the largest flower with blush ink from CTMH. I'm adding this to a box of homemade chocolate chip cookies for a special little girl at school.
Hop on over to The Sisterhood and check out what my sistahs have for your inspiration!

Spooktactular Stamps....
Good Morning,

This is one of last year's Halloween party pix from my Little Kids party at my house. We always have a scary, spooktactular, feasting time with a movie and lots FUN!!!! I used CTMH stamps to create the spider web, the big corner image and the hanging spiders. The papers, ribbon, and hat pin are all Making Memories.
I hope you'll find time to share your stamping projects with us this week. Don't forget to visit our super talented design team all throughout this week for stamping inspiration.

Good Morning,
Today is a new reveal at Frosted Designs. This week, Sharon is hosting and she has inspired us to use Peaches N Cream with any kind of sparkle. Hmmmmm, a challenge right up my alley.
I used my Sorbet ink to ink up the inside of my stylized flowers folder and embossed some cream cardstock. Don't you love this technique? I do. Very elegant yet very simple. For the sparkle, I added some pearls and a shimmery cream ribbon.
Head over to see the beautiful inspiration for the rest of my fabby Frosted sisters!

My Blessing....
Good Morning,
Today is a new reveal over at Sketches in Thyme! We have one more beautiful sketch from Helen Croft at Scrapalittlesketches. I am so into the circle elements right now! Do you ever get into patterns and just can't seem to break away?
Here is the layout I came up with. I had this Easter photo from all the way back to 2003 of little Miss Ashlea. I really wanted to put it to paper. I pulled out some Lucky Girl Craft Kits papers and rubons.
I love how it came out. Notice I didn't use any ink on this one.....The flowers and bling are Prima.
This is our last week to offer up this yum prize by Maven Tanya!
Please hop over and visit all my Mavens, be sure to leave them some kindness!

The daisy is my favorite flower. I love how simple this one is. The cardstock is all CTMH, the buttons came from Wal-Mart, and the sentiment is American Crafts rub-ons.

Togetherness....
Good Morning,
Just a quick post this morning, I have a layout that was published in the Better Scrap Brads and Bytes newsletter last week. We created a layout about us from when we were babies or little. I chose to do one of the last summer I spent with my Grandpa. This was the summer of 1978.
Yep, that would be me with my arms all around him. He and my Granny were just 52 in this photo. My Grandpa passed away the very next year. This photo and memory of that day is so special to me. The other little cutie pie in there is my middle sis, Teresa.
Our challenge also included using text from a magazine in a title. Don't you love the "Togetherness" title that was cut from a Scrapbooking and Beyond magazine.

DrEam.....
Good Morning,
It is time for another Monday reveal at Practical Scrappers. Check out my side bar to the left for some incredible new changes at PS coming your way in October.
This week our challenge is to use ribbon on your project. I had this darling photo of my oldest nephew, Tyler, just begging to be scrapped.
I gathered the ribbon to form a little border to help bring the eye to his beautiful gaze. I also took the remainder of the ribbon to create a little side bloom that was attached with a dainty hat pin. I am to pleased with how this one came out.
Supplies:
cardstock, bloom,., ribbon, pin, and journaling tag are all Lucky Girl Craft Kits
dps-My Mind's Eye
bling- Prima

Oh how I love this sketch!!!!
I so enjoyed this Holiday paper challenge. I loved putting my wedding photos to this yummy Graphic 45 paper. I really challenged myself to use each of the criteria on this one!
So here goes, I used two photos from my wedding, almost 14 years ago!! Next, I used my Cricut Expression George and Basic Shapes cart to cut the hearts, and the Cherry Limeade cart for the title. Then I used pop dots to add some dimension behind the hearts. I put a 4 in my title, and used rubber stamps for the stitching above the hearts and for the journal box.
Techniques used, I love to use my distress inks on the edges of my papers. I also used my Cuttlebug to emboss the circle element and the hearts. Then I spritzed them with some Pearl Glimmer Mist.
Supplies used:
Cardstock: Discount Cardstock “Really Red 80# 12×12“; Papers: Graphic 45 “Christmas Past Collection: Carol of the Bells, We Wish You a Merry Christmas,” “Hallowe’en in Wonderland”; Adhesives: Plaid Pop dots; Stamps: Close to My Heart “Simple Stitches,” Scrappy Cat “journal box”; Ink: Close to My Heart “Chocolate distress inks”; Color spray: Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist “Pearl”; Ribbon: Scrapgoods.com; Tools: Cuttlebug and “d’vine” embossing folder.
Hop on over to Betterscrap to visit my scrappy sisters and see how they can inspire you to use some holiday papers in a fun out of the box way!

Pieces of You...
Good Morning,
It feels so good to get a real post up! This is my dt project for Frosted Designs this week. Pat is our lovely hostess. She is challenging you to cut up your photo in some way. Be creative and think of fun ways to step outside your box.

I chose to cut this on of my Daddy into 4 pieces. He loves his shady spot by the lake and his garden. This photo captures how he sits and "studies" life. I wanted to have all focus on it and created my journaling around the edge of the decorative cut CTMH paper.
I used some second generation stamping on this one and my blooms are Bazzil and Prima. The big bling in the flower is by Kaiser and the bird is Prima, I think....I couldn't find the packaging on it.

My Guy....YOU....
Good Monday,
It is so good to have my internet back, hopefully to stay. We had a bad rain on Saturday morning, lost electricity for a few hours and the internet didn't come back until late Sunday evening.
So now on to business for today. Lucky Girl Craft Kits is sponsoring Sketch Inspiration. Don't you love this yummy sketch? I kind of tweaked it just a bit so I could use this one darling photo of my little man when he was just two.
And, it is also my Practical Scrappers layout for this week, to use buttons. I kind of wanted to do lots of buttons, but really was enjoying the "black tie" feel to this one, so I kept it very simple, yet "handsome" and just added three pearl buttons with some black thread.
All of my papers and alpha's came in the Lucky Girl September Falling for You kit. The rubons are American Craft, the blooms are Prima, the pearls are from Hobby Lobby and the journaling box is Making Memories.
So....head on over to visit the lovely ladies at Lucky Girl and Practical Scrappers, leave them some love for all their yummy inspiration!!!! And play along with this sketch at Sketch Inspiration!

Better Scrap September Challenge #3....
Good Morning,
Today is new challenge reveal at Better Living through Scrapbooking!
“Fashion disaster challenge”
Create a layout about a fashion disaster, hair disaster, or social faux pas that happened to you.
1. Use an old school photo of yourself on your layout.
2. Use fabric or canvas on your page(s).
3. Use one larger and two smaller photo on your page.
4. Use ribbon in a fun and/or unusual way on your page.
5. Use the following as a page title, or the beginning of your journaling: “Quick, Call the Fashion Police!
“Such a fun challenge for us! I had absolutely forgotten about some of my fashion faux pas from the early 1990′s! I had so much fun rummaging through my old photos trying to find the ones to ‘showcase’ here. Finally, I chose to use ones from my very first Kindergarten class back in 1992. Check out the hair…..oh gosh!
I chose to use ribbon in a fun way on this layout. If you look at the rosettes in the upper corner, those are actually wire edged ribbon that I just spiraled around until I was happy with the size. I tucked the cut edges under and inserted a brad into the center, and attached with mini glue dots. Then, I used some striped ribbon as a corner embellishment to the photo and the journaling box. This one was just looped and attached with a brad.
I also used the ‘Quick, Call the fashion police!’ for my fun title. When my oldest niece saw this layout ( she is now the age I was in the photo), she very quickly added, ‘I am so glad hair and fashion are different now!’”
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: Discount Cardstock “Eggplant Felt 80# 12×12, Wisteria Vellum 12×12“; Papers: Graphic 45 “Hallowe’en in Wonderland,”, Embellishments: Prima alphabet and bling, American Crafts brads and rub-ons, Offray ribbon, and Making Memories journaling box.
So head on over to Better Scrap today and share you fashion fauz pas with us this week! While you are there, please visit my Better Scrap dt sisters, you'll be inspired to pull out you 80's and early 90's pix too!
Blessings

Hello and some family fun....
Good Morning,
Today I'm sharing a card that was made from just scraps of my September Lucky Girl kit. Isn't this so lovely?
These papers are so very fun and have just a hint of fall in them. Head on over to Lucky Girl to order yours today!!!!!
Thanks to you all for your thoughts and prayers for my Jon-Christopher. It appears he was hit hard with a nasty stomach virus. The ER doc. did say his white cell count was over 22, 000. He kept a 100.1 temp. for most of Sunday, slept most of the day too. When he awoke, he was back to himself, ready to fun outside and enjoy the evening. Here are just a few fun photos of our Sunday evening together.....

Look at Jon-Christopher driving the golf cart. Check out that "so serious" expression on his face. Trust me, he is 6 and can drive it anywhere around the yard he wants to.
Hunter takes his turn driving the golf cart around....I'm going to star calling my sister "Miss Daisy". She will let them drive her all around, she is just as patient as can be....Now remember my two little nephews are just 6!
When we are all together at the lake, we love to spend the early evening hours playing corn hole. Notice we have two adult games going and look at Ashlea's little board. My bil made a kids size set for her and Jon-Christopher. Notice the beautiful glow of the sunset behind my family as it is cast over the lake.
In another game, my mom and I were playing Ashlea and my sister....sad to say that a 1o year old beat me! I still don't have the hang of this game. Basketball is so much easier!
What happens to a little 6 year old boy who spends half the night in an ER? He sleeps all day, fighting a fever, and when it finally breaks....he finds his cousin and plays xbox! Hunter is the one in blue and Jon-Christopher is in the white.
Have a terrific Tuesday!

I hope you'll find a great use for white core cardstock this week and share it with us. We are sponsored in September by Robyn's Fetish Digital. This week's winner will receive 5 images or paper sets. You'll have until Saturday, September 11 at 5:00 pm to enter.

Better Scrap Reveal and a winner....
Good Morning,
I'm sorry this is kind of pieced together this morning. Our little man had to go to ER last night. He was fine and dandy then in just one spilt second he began to vomit and couldn't stop. He became limp, lifeless, and his eyes rolled back....we were scared to death and went straight to the ER. He got home about 3 am this morning. His white cell count is elevated, he got some ivs, and something for the nausea. He has been resting since....please pray for my little man.
And now I have the winner of my Lucky Girl Blog Party RAK.....
Thanks to everyone for following the blog party and for all your terrfic answers to my fall questions!
Are you ready for a new challenge reveal at Better Scrap?
Our sponsors for this month at Better Scrap are Graphic 45 and Discount Cardstock, so I've featured their yummy products in this layout
Supplies used:
Cardstock: Discount Cardstock “Patriot Blue Linen 12×12″; Patterned Paper: Graphic 45 “Hallowe’en in Wonderland”; Embellishments: Gauche Alchemy Punchinella, Making Memories journaling spot and silver alpha stickers, American Crafts white rub-ons, Prima bloom and brad, Doodle Genie template from Chatter Box, Gelly Roll white Pen
Criteria used:
I chose to use #1 rub-ons and stickers on the photo and #3 pre purchased journaling blocks. I love this photo of Ashlea at her most recent dance competition. It is blurry and the color is a tad off, but considering that it is a bad photo, I love how the layout turned out.
Thechnique used: I used a doodle template and a white pen to create a fresh little flourish on the Patriot Blue Linen cardstock. I decided that I’ve had this template for 4+ years and I need to make an effort to use it on more layouts.
We are holding a Labor Day giveaway on our Facebook page, and it’s so easy to win!
Just visit our Facebook page (if you’re not already a fan, just click the “like” button at the top of the page, and you’ll be signed in!) and look for the Labor Day giveaway post. Just leave a comment to that post, tell us your favorite inspirational quote, and you’re entered to win!

Thechnique used: I used a doodle template and a white pen to create a fresh little flourish on the Patriot Blue Linen cardstock. I decided that I’ve had this template for 4+ years and I need to make an effort to use it on more layouts.

Double Reveal Day....
Good Morning,
Today is a busy day here on my blog. We are having a photo inspiration challenge at Frosted Designs....Didn't Diana choose a beautiful photo to inspire us?
I chose to use this darling little "Ms. Birdie" digi image from Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps, our sponsor this month.
My papers and bling are Hobby Lobby, the flower, button, and ribbon are from stash. I used a ticket left from my August Lucky Girl kit for the title...I have a coworker who is having hard time getting back into the school/home routine. I"m giving this card to her to remind her to trust herself and know that God has a plan for her as an educator.....
Please hop over to all my Fabby Frosted sisters and let them know that they inspire you!

Day 3 of Lucky Girl Blog Party.....
Didn't I tell you this kit is scrummy? I love this sheet of paper! It was just perfect for this older photo I have of my Honeybee! I only used ink on the gorgeous gold paper. The green photo mat is the Prima packaging recycled! Aren't these blooms and bling to die for?

Lucky Girl Blog Party Day 1...
Good Morning,
Today is day one of our September Blog Party over at Lucky Girl Craft Kits. Check out what we have to offer in our Falling for You kit....
Such a beautiful kit and packed with gorgeous blooms, ribbons, and divine papers!!!!
Here is my first layout for this kit. Everything on this page came from the kit, the only thing I added was a bit of ink to the flower to blend the color a bit and just a touch to the paper ribbon.
This layout is of my handsome oldest nephew, Tyler on his Senior Prom back in 2009, see, I'm waaaay behind! But I absolutely adore these photos of him and his little date. I took these photos before the prom. We had just had a huge rain storm and it stopped just long enough to travel to this 100+ year old church for photos.
