Some baby layouts to share...

Good Morning,
I have a dear co-worker who has just discovered she's having a baby boy, how exciting! I have begun to scrap some pages for her. All she'll have to do is add her photos and journaling. I used Die Cuts with a View Nana's Nursery stack for all three of these layouts.

This one is for a 10 month page to record just how baby will be growing at that age.

I thought this would be a great page to scrap one of the ultrasound pictures to record a first glimpse of baby boy.

And you know she will have to have one of him sleeping.
I'll share more as I work on them. I hope you have a great Sunday!

The Stamping Boutique....

Good Sunday Morning,
I'm using the Friday Sketch at Practical Scrappers for this precious baby boy card.

I have a dear friend and co-worker who just recently discovered she is having a baby boy. I decided to use this darling digi from The Stamping Boutique, our sponsor this month at Practical Scrappers. Since my friend knows the baby is a boy, I decided to color the little girl in pastel green and yellow. I really love how this one turned out. All the dps are scraps from my baby boy stash. I used sweet leaf ink, metal embellies from the stash too.

I hope that you are all having a fabby weekend! We really enjoyed our time yesterday at the Gray Fossil Site and Museum. I'll share some photos of the kids later on today.

Discover...

Good Tuesday,
It is cold here again this morning, but... the temps are going to be around 70 this afternoon! Today is card reveal day at Practical Scrappers. Remember our challenge this week is to use office supplies. I used some more staples and paperclips on this one. You need to hop on over, Christine, Angela, and Enfys have all created some FAB cards using these supplies. Don't forget, we have a prize for this week's challenge. One lucky winner will receive a certificate for Paperthreads. If you have been lurking around in the shadows and haven't followed yet, now would be the time. Show your support and follow along. The DT call is still posted and we're looking for some great talent to join us, apply today. Info posted here. Go on into you office, look around, create something, and share it with us! Have a great day!

Cherish...

Good Thursday Morning,
My Honyebee and I were talking about my Little Man, Jon-Christoper, last night. I can't believe he is already 5 and in Kindergarten. He had his first field trip this week at school. Oh, the excitement! So, I pulled his baby album out and went through it for a while, just remembering. I came across this beautiful layout and decided to share it with you this morning. I created this about four years ago and really couldn't begin to tell you whose products these are. I will tell the quick history of this gown. This is the day he came home from the hospital. My 29 year old brother received this gown in a set at his birth. To date, there have been four other little ones in my family wear this gown home. It is a tradition now. That is another thing to remember. My baby brother weighed 6 pounds 8ounces. He wore this gown, and is now 6 foot 3, 220, SOLID muscle. This reminds me of the song "Let Them Be Little". I wish I could just freeze time.

Enjoy your day!

Baby Girl and CPS 124

Good Morning Ladies,

It is one more day closer to the weekend! Whoo!!! I finally got all of my baby cards completed. Yippee. This morning, I am posting my three girl cards. The first one is using the CPS 124 sketch. I turned the sketch so my digi image from Squigglefly would fit better. I used colored pencils on the image. The cs is Hollyhock CTMH, and the flower is lightly inked too. The bling and ribbon are from stash. The bundle of joy is from stash too. The border is a Fiskar's punch.
Hope you enjoy!

More Baby Boy Cards...

Happy Wednesday,
I am still working on baby cards. I just completed one card yesterday. My Little Kids came home from the lake house. When they arrived, we set up the Slip-n-Slide and spent the afternoon playing in the refreshing cool water. After that, we spent the evening having popcorn and a movie. So, I am planning to get the rest of my baby cards finished today. This one features a digi image from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff and I really like using the non-traditional colors in the Basic Gray baby boy Landon and Jackson papers. The zipper pull is Junkitz, ribbon is stash, cardstock is Bazzill, Kimberly's colored pencils, and Moonstruck ink from CTMH.

This one of Jon-Christopher is just too sweet to not post. This was inside my house after he changed back into dry clothes. His little hair all spiked up, those big brown eyes that make my heart melt, God how I love these two Little Kids. I'm not sure if I've ever told you, we call them the Little Kids because their last name is Little.

Sweet Baby Boy

Morning Ladies,
I hope your week is off and running with sunshine and smiles. I'm in baby card making mode today. Where my mom works, there are seven babies arriving this month. She asked me to make the cards for her, four baby boys and three baby girls. My first card is using the Mojo sketch 95 and some soft blue shades. I'll also be making this card in pink for one of the girls. I hope you enjoy and have a great Tuesday.
