#OMG!

Happy Sunday! I had so much fun playing in my scrap room yesterday! Hope to have a few more hours today! I stepped way out of my comfort zone and created a layout with a white page! I'm playing along with Scrap our Stash on this one.
A little close up of some of the detail on this page. This was the first time my little niece, Hadley met my niece Ashlea's Miss Bella. When I saw this photo, I knew this was a moment to capture on a page! #OMG!!! is exactly what her expression says to me.
The challenge at Scrap Our Stash is to use items in the word paper. Here is my list,
P-Polka Dot Paper
A-Arrows
P-Punch (for dovetails)
E-Enamel Triangles
R-Ribbon
Thanks for visiting today! Leave a comment so that I may come visit you!

Delight....

Have you heard of my Year End Event Give-A-Way???? Read all about HERE!!!!! Be sure to register!
Oh my goodness, I finally got to create a layout!!!! Oh how I have missed doing that! I decided to scrap this pic of me, something else I never do! I used some beautiful Blossom papers and complements for this one.
 I used pop dots to put some lift on the flowers.
 Of course my inspiration came from Scrap Out Stash's current sketch. I love it!!!!

Fabulous Moment and DT Call

Ahhhh! Sweet Kentucky sunshine this morning. What better way to begin the day than to be scrapping with the sun rising in your studio window! I'm playing along with this delightful sketch at My Scraps & More. LOVE it!!!!
This layout is also created for the current Scrap Our Stash challenge, which is a word challenge to use items or products that spell WASHI. Here is what I came up with:
* W~ washi tape (of course)
* A~arrow
* S~stars
* H~Heidi Swapp product
* I~ink
Close up of the washi and arrow.
 Fun little ensemble for the title, the star, and more washi.
 I so love this sweet page for my Miss Hadley's book!
I hope your day is blessed and fabulous!
Happy Scrapping,

Scrap Our Stash #22~use sequins

Happy Tuesday! Cold and snowy here in my little hometown! Perfect weather for some scrapping  and playing along at Scrap our Stash today. This is the next page for Hadley's album. This is my 88 year old Grandmother, Hadley's Great Grandmother and my sister with "Our Sweetness".
 I stamped the title and added just a little bling with those two sequins.
 This tag is the packaging from the Bo Bunny bling that came with the Primrose collection I used. It was too pretty to trash, so I just cut the bitty polka dot paper to cover the branding on the top. I added that swirly doo sticker and the medallion with one sequin in the middle.
 I was inspired by this FABULOUS sketch from my sweet friend, Bev Code
Bo Bunny Primrose papers, stickers, and ephemera.

Bo Bunny packaging (tag)

Life Lesson #1...

Happy Monday!!!! I am sharing a layout today that was inspired by this sketch at Let's Get Sketchy
This layout is actually a bit clean for me...feels almost naked...hee hee but I think I like it!
I am entering it in the Scrap Our Stash challenge in which we are to use the letters in "TWINE"
T=Twine
W=Washi tape
I=Ink (Tim Holtz)
N=Number 1
E=Embossing (butterfly)
This life lesson is for the challenge this week over at Lasting Memories. I love how my nieces and nephew were giggling in this photo. So, the Smile Big Give Love Be Grateful Laugh Lots Live Simply was just perfect for this challenge and photo
A better look at the embossing and twine....
Hope you all have a terrific Monday!

Be....YOU

I'm back today to wrap up the challenges this month at Scrap Our Stash. Challenge 17 was to use this sketch and dig DEEP into your stash.....
I went all the way back to 2007 CTMH stash on this one....everything on this layout is from 2007 with the exception of the Pink Paislee chipboard alphas and the bling...and I'm sure that they are at least 2 years old...
All papers and the ribbon are from CTMH Let's Get Together from Summer 2007, Pink Paislee alphas, and the bling was just in my stash....

Don't forget that there is a DT/Sketch Team call going on at Sketches in Thyme! Check it out!!!!

I {heart} Me...

I was inspired by Scrap Our Stash to create a layout using a selfie and old stash. I really had fun digging through all my old stash for this layout. I printed the photo in a draft style mode using only grey scale . I wanted it to have a distressed look about it. I did have to trim the bling flourish on the side of the photo, one of them was coming across my face...
I also found this sketch that I used for inspiration...

Recipe: Basic Grey Sweet Pea Alyssa, Fusion Spoiled, Fandango Black Tie, and Mustard Aged &  Confused Vagabond papers. The butterflies were in my stash along with the bling. Flowers are La Petite by the Paper Studio, ribbon is by CTMH (so old, not even available any more), Ranger distress inks in Walnut Stain and Antique Linen. Finally, those Sugar Coated chipboard alphabet are from doodlebug design.
