Our Story...

Good Morning,
I've certainly missed coming to see you guys. I'm horribly busy this week at school. We missed 30+ snow days here. This week is our first FULL week of school since December 18th!!!! Our state assessment is still scheduled for next month (the officials are trying to change the date), so we are working as hard as we can to get the kiddos where they need to be. I teach third grade and that is the first year of accountability at state assessment. So NO PRESSURE!!!!! Anyways, now you know that I've been wrapped up in third grade!

Today I'm sharing a mini album I made for my Honeybee. This little album is all about our story. Since we don't have our own children, I wanted to leave a history for our nieces and nephews. Someday, they may wonder about how Ben and I came to be.

I used a Creative Memories album and mixed the papers between CTMH and Creative Memories. All the inks and ribbons were CTMH too. There is a wide variety of embellies on the cover and on this first page. All the stickers are CTMH. The heart clips, staples, and brads
are from my stash. The flowers are Prima, the metal tag is Making Memories.
Be sure to come back tomorrow as I will be sharing projects for Frosted Designs and The Town Scrapper.
Blessings,

  3. KIm... this is gorgeous and such a great idea!! Your embellishments are totally cool!! And that cover.. WOW!!

Good luck with your state assessments... I have to admit I don't miss that from when I taught third grade! So much pressure and so unfair given the amount of missed days!! Will any of those days be waved or will you be going to school in July? That is a lot to make up!! We just finished round one of assessments last week with round two coming after spring break! Yuck! LOL!!
