Dance Comp Standings...

Hello Scrappy Friends,
I'm back in the room now, just wanted to share some photos of today's competition. This Jamfest is HUGE!!!! We have teams from Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and I know there are some I am forgetting. At the end of round one competition, our Pom Youth team is currently in fourth place. I got this one as they were ending the routine. I put her name on this one for you to know which one my sweet angel is!

This next picture is of her Jazz routine. She is the one in the center being lifted. They are currently in fourth place after the first round of comp in this one too! Tomorrow is double points and hopefully our girls bring their A Game! We are really dancing with the best of the best! I love it!!!!!!!

I'm Traveling...

I am traveling today. Ashlea is competing in a dance competition this weekend in Covington, KY. I have been traveling today and now we're here and I'm so tired. I'll be trying to read blogs in between the competition tomorrow and Sunday. If I miss you, I'm sorry, but we are enjoying this beautiful city in the snow! We are looking at the Bengal Stadium from our suite.

ATV Star...

***Second Post, Scroll Down For Humble Pie Card***
It is time for a another new challenge. Isn't Friday so much fun!!!! At Frosted Designs this week, we want to see stars....use stars on your projects. I have to say, I couldn't wait for this challenge! I used this week's SOUS sketch. This was a fun sketch to used with this challenge.

I still have much of the Stardust paper left, I LOVE this paper and use it whenever I can. I had these fun everyday photos of Jon-Christopher riding his little ATV. I knew they were perfect for this challenge.

I used the George Basic Shapes cart to cut my fun stars, then I ran them through the swiss dots folder and sanded to give the white core a chance to peek out. I cut the squares using the large square maker from Creative Memories. My title is cut from Cuttin Up cart. Now hopefully you've been inspired to create with stars. There's lots more inspiration waiting for you at my DT sister's, remember, they are linked up in my side bar, and leave them some love!

Today is Friday and that brings a new challenge at Humble Pie Stamps. We have a tool challenge this week. We want to see what you can do with your Spellbinders!

Here is my card. I used the scalloped square to create a mat for my oval image. I'm giving this Maggie in Love to my Miss Ashlea, she adores this image!

I Love You...

Good Morning,
I spoke to my aunt on the phone yesterday and SHE is ready to go home! She suffers some communication processing from her stroke in 1984. She thinks when she's ready, it should happen. So, needless to say, she doesn't like that the doctors want to continue to monitor her. I tried to explain to her that we were in the middle of a winter storm and she just needs to stay there in the safety of the hospital. So she is continuing to do well.
Today I am using this week's Midnight Madness Sketch

for this card at Tellen's Place.


Terry and the Diva's are asking for one more card with hearts (at least 5). I pulled out more scraps from My Mind's Eye and absolutely love this free image at Tellen's Place this week. Isn't she just beautiful? I'm sorry the lighting is off on this one. It is still snowing here.

Love at First Sight!

Good Morning,

First, I want to thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes for my Aunt and my family. Here is the update I received just before bed last night. She was still alert, the color was back in her complexion (Gran said she was "pale as a ghost" when she first saw her), she appears to be her normal self. She was moved from the individual ER room into a private room. The initial reports from her scan conclude it was a mini stroke. She is expected to make a complete and full recovery, Praise God!!! Again, thank you all for your prayers!

Today, I used this sketch from Card Patterns

to make this card for my little "love monkey", Jon-Christopher. I still love this Animal Cookies paper and this card just fell in place using this sketch. Everything is CTMH. Have a great day!
