Sketches in Thyme PL Style Sketch #20

Oh happy day! That is exactly what I feel when I look at this card! I used Penelope papers to create this 4X3 pocket card. I used a thin cut doily to cut the blue paper. The spring and butterfly are cut from the Artiste cartridge. I added some Pixie twine and pink gems to finish this card.

I chose to use this Little Critters set.....

along with some Penelope Workshop Your Way papers and complements to create this fun pocket card. I used our watercolor paints and paper to create my frog. 

Then, I used the Little Critters Thin Cuts to punch him out.

Sunshine Birdies Rose Blossom Blog Hop!

Today is the first of March and that only means one thing......

First, I stamped the images with Stazon Black ink. Then I pulled out my ShinHan makers to color them. So smooth and so very pretty! 

 To me, this set screamed....."please use me with Penelope".... and so I did, along with the complements and some silver glitter gel. 

 Here is my "sunshine", my two year old niece Hadley Mae. The photo was taken last year and I have been saving it for the perfect paper. So happy that I did. The photo really does not show the beauty of this paper.

Rose Blossom Share the Love Blog Hop!

I used this set to create many pocket page cards. I am featuring just one here today. 

I thought this set was meant for La Vie En Rose papers and I was right! 

I used the rose paper for the base of this 4X3 card. I used the back side for the banner and the piece I punched out for the second banner. I used the two sentiments on the set to lightly stamp a background on the white cardstock. Then, I stamped the sentiment and arrow. I had to use a red enamel hear to add some balance to the card. That gorgeous black and gold ribbon offers the perfect finishing touch.

Woodland Romance...

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Are you planning to watch the game tonight! I will be glued it! 

In the meantime, I want to share this Woodland Romance set today. Yesterday I shared a layout that featured the deer and the best day banner. 

Today, I am sharing a pocket page card that I made using the deer and that pretty heart. I used the cascading confetti embossing folder on Slate cardstock and bumped it with the sanding block. I love how it appeared to be snow! I also used the dauber to apply a kiss of ink to the love heart so it wasn't so stark white. I am so in love with how this card came out!

Best Day with Charlotte....

Hello and welcome back! I had last posted a video showcasing the Charlotte Workshop Your Way. Here is a look at everything that comes in this kit for $26.95. 

 I created this layout using the kit. The black and white photo of my handsome nephew was just perfect for these papers. 

I also used the Woodland Romance stamp set along with the Artistry cartridge. This paper is so very versatile and can be used on male pages easily!
