ICS and C.R.A.F.T. Challenge With More Blue Awning.....

Good Saturday Morning,
My post this morning uses up the very last little bit of Blue Awning I have. I used the IC sketch 24 for this card. Over at C.R.A.F.T Challenge, we are asked to create a card showing age. I chose to do an anniversary card. I think this paper is very fitting. Everything I used on this card is Blue Awning by K & Co. except the 50 and of brown rubons, those are American Crafts. My ink is CTMH Moonstruck.

Scrap or Dare meets C.R.A.F.T Challenge 5

Finally, the tango walls are finished! You talk about some bright 'tween' room we have going on! She LOVES it and that is all that matters, right?Anyway, with the walls finished, I can play some more, yay!!

I went to Amy's Scrap or Dare 7 and saw that her challenge this week was to use Olive Green, Buttercup, Bamboo, and Cocoa. Great colors Amy! I made the card and then rememberd the theme is "masculine", I did flowers.....not so masculine, uh....well, my hubby said he loved it...thanks hubby. I had already decided I wanted to use the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge sketch 5 for something this week...great sketch, I love it! So this is what I came up with. Sorry the picture is not good. My battery died just after I shot this first one.

Merry Go Round Card

Good Morning All,
After a stormy day, browsing antique shops with a friend, and time in my studio, here is a card I made for the C.R.A.F.T Challenge this week. My card was inspired by the Merry-go-Round in Wishes, the new card program book from CTMH. I might add that this is the most amazing inspiration book to date!! I love EVERYTHING in it!
The challenge was to use only three flowers, two papers, and ribbon. I used Sorbet and Juniper cardstock and inks. The ribbon is bulk sorbet. The sentiment is Heartthrob (D1309), flowers are from Prima and the brads...who knows. I kind of like how it turned out. I really love the round cards...so much fun to play with.
