My Girl...

Good Morning,

Today is a busy day here. I have two challenges to reveal. First, I will share my card for Penny's Challenges. Before I do, I want to say Thank You to all 344 of you who played along this last challenge! This knocked our socks off! This week it is all about shapes. You can do a shaped card, layout, or altered project. I decided to go with this fun butterfly card.

I love the purples and black in this fun paper from Colorbok. The ribbon and bling are from my stash. I took this photo in Ashlea's hot pink room. I had one of the big gems pick up the pink from the walls, it really doesn't look pink in real life.

Scraplifting at Practical Scrappers.....

Saturday is finally here, YIPPEEEEE! This weekend Angie and Christine have asked us to 'lift' something we had seen created in any previous challenge at Practical Scrappers. You don't have to recreate it exactly, you can lift the colors or the idea of the project. There were so many I wanted to do. I chose to do a card this go around. I really loved Jenny B's pink card featured below. I took the idea and created this card. I know, it does have another butterfly, I can't help it, I love 'em! A Little Something....

Good Morning Ladies!
It's Tuesday and I must go to my classroom today and tomorrow to wrap up all the loose ends, get textbooks ready, nameplates on desks, goodie bags stuffed and ready, etc, all you K-4 teachers out there know the routine! Now that I'm going back to school most of my blogging will all be in the late evening and night. I'll probably get my post up in the early morning before leaving but won't get to visit until after school, dinner, and chores are finished up. I can't begin to tell you guys just how much I love visiting all of your fabby blogs and seeing the amazing cards and layouts you create. You girls are the best!

Anyways, here is just a little something I'm working on. I won't go into all the details until I post the finished project.
