Today is Friday, January 1, 2010! Wow, where did this past year go? I hope you all had a wonderful time ringing in the new year last night. I did, I was surrounded by those I love most and it was terrific!
Today the Humble Pie Bakers are giving you a challenge to create a classy card, layout, or project in honor of our new year. Classy in the way of black, white, and one other accent color. I knew instantly I wanted to use my new Chrysanthemum Fairy image from The Town Scrapper. Phebe had sent this to me just before Christmas. Thanks so very much Phebe. I can see dozens of ways to use her. Isn't she just gorgeous? I wanted to go for all out shimmer on this one, as the image of the Waterford Crystal Ball in Times Square is the main image I have of New Year's Eve. I used diamond and strawberry stickles on my image. I did add just a hint of green to the leaf on the image.

Here is a close up of Miss Chrysanthemum, what do you think?
