The Stamping Boutique....

Good Sunday Morning,
I'm using the Friday Sketch at Practical Scrappers for this precious baby boy card.

I have a dear friend and co-worker who just recently discovered she is having a baby boy. I decided to use this darling digi from The Stamping Boutique, our sponsor this month at Practical Scrappers. Since my friend knows the baby is a boy, I decided to color the little girl in pastel green and yellow. I really love how this one turned out. All the dps are scraps from my baby boy stash. I used sweet leaf ink, metal embellies from the stash too.

I hope that you are all having a fabby weekend! We really enjoyed our time yesterday at the Gray Fossil Site and Museum. I'll share some photos of the kids later on today.

You Feel the Rain....

Good Morning,
I hope you will take just a moment to hop over to The Sisterhood to take a peek which sister is being introduced this morning! Be sure to leave her some love.
Announcing the top three at Practical Scrappers, Jan, Amanda, and Sue F. and our grand prize winner, Lisa. You can see their winning creations here. Thanks for all your inspirational projects this week, as always, you girls always amaze me with your talents!
This week our challenge is to use your favorite white pen/marker. I have tried many and still struggle to find one that I love. The one I chose to use is a Sakura paint pen. I chose to do a card using some Crate Paper Katlin line. Love this yummy fun girly paper! I also used a wonderful image from our sponsor, The Stamping Boutique called Rainy Cynthia.

Here's my card,

Here is how I used the white pen. I added some faux stitching around the pink cardstock and the circle element. Then to bring out the doodling in the dp, I doodled inside the circle above the ribbon. This was totally outside my box. I am not a doodler, at all. Can I tell you just how much FUN I had with this one!!!!

Here is the fabby Rainy Cynthia. I used a variety of markers to color her in.

Once again, we are sponsored by The Stamping Boutique and our grand prize winner will receive two digi's from them. So, now are you ready to share your favorite white pen and a project showcasing it? I want to know which is your favorite white pen! And as always, visit my fabby dt sisters over on my sidebar, be sure to leave them some love!
Blessings for a Marvelous Monday!

toothless.....

Good Saturday Morning,
I do hope you are safe and warm this morning. The "Powerhouse Storm", as the Weather Channel is calling it is beginning to bring some more snow my way. If you are in the path of or have already been hit by this one, I do hope you are in your scrappy space, warm, and crafty away!
This morning I am sharing the Friday Sketch from Ann Katrin at Practical Scrappers. Doesn't she do the most incredible sketches? So easy to design with...here's this weekend's sketch,

Since my little 5 year old nephew, Jon-Christopher lost not one, but BOTH bottom teeth last Saturday evening, I thought I'd scrap his "toofless" picture. I really should have titled it just as he said it, "Toofless". You can click the photo for up close on the journaling.
My "Tooth Fairy Cynthia" is an exclusive from The Stamping Boutique. When I saw her, I knew I had to have her for this layout. My Honeybee was uncertain that I could make her work on a "boy" page. I assured him to never underestimate the power of a woman with watercolors in her hand!!!! I think I proved my point to him....big giggles.....
Head over to Practical Scrappers to see some of my sister's take on Ann's sketch....they are wonderful!!!
