love...

I have this precious page for Hadley's book today. This was one of her very first baths after she came home from the hospital. So happy her Mommy captured these moments for me! So this one works for the new challenge up at Lasting Memories Life's Moments "Anything Goes" challenge
This photo is just so adorable. Love is all I think of when I see it.
I was inspired by this sketch from Week 3 at Let's Get Sketchy. I'm actually gonna turn this into a double page spread.
I used a variety of product on this page. The papers are MME Bramble Rose, the flower is a Joleee's Boutique, love is by Heidi Swapp, and the scalloped rose & polka dot canvas stickers were in my stash unlabeled.

Sketch~N~Scrap #73

Hello and Happy Sunday! I am sharing a layout that was inspired by this Sketch~N~Scrap sketch.
I created a companion page for my "Splish Splash" of Hadley's first swim.
Stamped the title....and added some brads.
I have had these little water droplets for soooo many years! I finally found a use for them....yay!!!!! I have added them in upper right and lower left corners.
To finish it off, I hand journaled.
Papers are MME Bramble Rose, ink is Tim Holtz, stamps and colored ink are CTMH, as well as the ribbon and decorative paper clip, and those droplets are mega old from my mega stash!
Have a very blessed Sunday and hope you get to scrap!!!!

Splish Splash....

Good Monday, peeps! Back this morning to share a layout I was inspired to create using this sketch at Feeling Sketchy. It is actually a card sketch, however....I challenged myself to create a layout instead. The challenge at Lasting Memories this week is "Captured Moments". Since this was Hadley's very first swim....it is most definitely a captured moment for us!
This is what I came up with for the little dovetail element.
I cut a chevron printed paper into a scalloped circle. The color really matches Hadley's swim suit perfectly (when looking in person). I stamped the sentiment  and added a few brads to highlight this beautiful shabby Bramble Rose paper from MME. I also included a hidden journal tag with that paperclip.
 and the final result.
Hope you have a marvelous Monday!
Happy Scrapping,

Going Home....

Good Morning, Peeps! I'm sharing yet another layout for Miss Hadley's book! This one today is inspired by a sketch over at The Memory Nest. Sweet sketch to play along with and a little twist to add stamping to the background.
This was the day Hadley came home from the hospital.
I love these shabby Bramble Rose papers from MME. The stamping on the base page was just so much fun.
 More stamping ....
 and I just couldn't stop!
 Have a great Sunday!
Happy Scrapping,

Sketch #131

My reveal day at Sketches in Thyme! Today, I chose to put my own little shabby spin on our current sketch. I created this layout for my Hadley's book. This captures the very first time my brother and sister-in-law first saw Miss Hadley!
I stamped the title....love how it came out....looks better in person.
Can't have shabby without a doily....Hidden journal tag pulls out there.
and here is our current sketch. Hop on over to Sketches in Thyme....awesome sponsors this month!!!!

Special Delivery

Happy Wednesday! I am sharing this sweet layout from Hadley's very first moments in this world.
When I saw this sketch at Sketch N Scrap, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.
I used those little squares to journal the date, hospital, time, weight, length, and weather outside as she was born.
So love this rose I cut from burlap stack using my Artiste cartridge. LOVE it!!!!!
Another peek at the journaling on the squares and those little gems are from Paper Studio!!!!!
Recipe: Papers~Bramble Rose MME, Bling~Prima and gemstones are The Paper Studio, rose cut from Artiste using Special Materials burlap stack, small flowers are from Recollections. I have had that rubber footprint stamp for 14....so happy to have used it again. Ranger Gathered Twings Distress inks

Cherish.....

Good Sunday to you, peeps. Isn't this sketch from Paper Secrets just beautiful?
I had to make a page for my sweet Hadley and my Daddy, (her Poppie).
The challenge along with the sketch is to use items that begin with letters from  LABOR.
L~lace, A~antique linen ink, B~bling, O~overlay (title), R~rosettes, store product~Bramble Rose papers.
I've had this overlay in my stash for years...perfect for this sweet layout.
love how the antique linen ink looks on the lace.
