Let's Get Sketchy Week 3 & Sunny Day Challenge....

Hello scrappy peeps! Today, I am playing along with this fabulous sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy.... It's a super fun sketch.
Here is my take on it. I used some Echo Park papers that I had in my stash.
I added a few bits of bling from my stash as well.
I also discovered this fun "Anything Goes" challenge blog,
So, I am adding this to their Challenge #19
Here is the process, I had fun with it!

love...

I have this precious page for Hadley's book today. This was one of her very first baths after she came home from the hospital. So happy her Mommy captured these moments for me! So this one works for the new challenge up at Lasting Memories Life's Moments "Anything Goes" challenge
This photo is just so adorable. Love is all I think of when I see it.
I was inspired by this sketch from Week 3 at Let's Get Sketchy. I'm actually gonna turn this into a double page spread.
I used a variety of product on this page. The papers are MME Bramble Rose, the flower is a Joleee's Boutique, love is by Heidi Swapp, and the scalloped rose & polka dot canvas stickers were in my stash unlabeled.

Life Lesson #1...

Happy Monday!!!! I am sharing a layout today that was inspired by this sketch at Let's Get Sketchy
This layout is actually a bit clean for me...feels almost naked...hee hee but I think I like it!
I am entering it in the Scrap Our Stash challenge in which we are to use the letters in "TWINE"
T=Twine
W=Washi tape
I=Ink (Tim Holtz)
N=Number 1
E=Embossing (butterfly)
This life lesson is for the challenge this week over at Lasting Memories. I love how my nieces and nephew were giggling in this photo. So, the Smile Big Give Love Be Grateful Laugh Lots Live Simply was just perfect for this challenge and photo
A better look at the embossing and twine....
Hope you all have a terrific Monday!

Let's Get Sketchy....

Yay!!!! I finally got to scrap! I was inspired by this sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy...
 I used Bo Bunny Primrose to create this layout for Hadley's album. I added the 6X6 on turned on a diamond to separate the photo from the patterned paper.
 Since this is going to be a Christmas present for my sister-in-law, I added a blank journal tag behind the photo. There is a banner attached so she can pull it out and journal about Hadley's first month. The little pink pearl acts as a stopper so it doesn't come out the other side of the photo.
 I also challenged myself to use my own handwriting on the title....
Have a very blessed Sunday!

Happy Wednesday! Sharing a quick layout this morning that I did for Ashlea's album.
 This is for her eighth grade year. Graduation is such a happy and bittersweet time. She is not my little girl any longer. Now, she's my big girl. I used the sketch at Let's Get Sketchy from September Week 1.
some close ups of the distressing ..... I'm such an addict. :)
 Love this little element.
