O Christms Tree....

Happy Tuesday,
I'm sharing a card that I totally adore. My very dear friend, Penny, has launched the grand opening of her NEW Creations by Penny store. This darling Christmas tree is one of her newest digi's. I couldn't wait to get to use it. I colored with my watercolors and then used some stickles to add the sparkle. It is also for the Cafe Mojo challenge this week, to send holiday wishes. My card base is from the Robin's Nest. The flourishes are a beautiful dainty touch of green glitter to add the perfect touch to a card this time of year. I finished it with a rub-on sentiment and some ribbon from my stash.

Good Saturday Morning,
I hope everyone enjoyed Black Friday!!! I was at church scrapping all day, no shopping for me! Today, I'm posting the new challenge at Cafe Mojo. We have a fabby sketch to inspire you. I simply adore this one and it was so easy. This page literally came together in minutes! Gotta love sketches that empower you to work that quickly!

I used some My Mind's Eye papers and some of those Prima naturals for my flower embellies. I really love how this came together. Fall, Fall, Fall....

This morning, my first post is for Cafe Mojo. Our new challenge is up and it is a Fall, Fall, Fall challenge. I had just taken this photo of my little man two weeks ago at our fall/Halloween party weekend. I swear, looking at him and my Ashlea makes all my dreams come true. Everyone says you can never love anything like your own kids. I'll never know if that is true or not, but I know I love Ashlea and Jon-Christopher so deeply that my heart aches being away from them.
Alright, enough mushy stuff! I wanted to use up more stash, so I pulled out the Wild Saffron papers for this one. The title is leftover Bo Bunny from last year, I traced the leaf onto some Basic Grey papers and the pumpkin is traced from a pattern my friend, Kerri, had sent me this fall. Good Morning,
My first card this morning is for th new Cafe Mojo challenge. We are doing a fun color challenge that just screams Halloween to me. The fabby colors are ORANGE, PURPLE, and GREEN. When I thought about this card, I just knew this would be it! My inspiration is a card I saw last week on Wanda's blog. It was a fabby card using witch stockings. Mine are Making Memories glittery rubons. Aren't they the cutest? Get into the spirit and create a fun card, layout, or altered item and join us for a cup of mojo at Cafe Mojo this week!

Imagine....

Happy Sunday!

I sure hope the sun shines here today. We had a day filled with rain, heavy at times, yesterday. My sweet Honeybee and I spent the afternoon shopping. I needed some things at Michael's and we even found a new scrapbook store! Not great, but new...

Anyway, today a brand new challenge is up at Cafe Mojo! This time you are being challenged to use hand stitching somewhere on your page. Wow, did I have fun with this one! It may be kind of difficult to tell, I put some stitching around some of the flowers and then I used the Bazzill stitch template to do the blanket stitch beside my scalloped border. I took this photo of Ashlea last fall while we were having a family picnic at the Breaks Interstate Park. Most people consider this park the Grand Canyon of the south. It is truly a majestic site. The journaling on this tag says "Ashlea, I imagine so many wonderful things for your future. I imagine you will always follow your (heart). When you can't, follow God's word!"

A Day In My Life....

Today is my Cafe Mojo debut. The challenge this week is to scrapbook about your daily routine now that a new school year has begun! How do you fit it all in? What has been the biggest change for your family? How long did it take or do you think it will take to transition smoothly? Show us anything you want about your new routine!
My daily routine begins with my prayers, breakfast, a quick blog post, on to my third grade classroom where I teach Reading, Writing, and Social Studies. That is a sneak peek into my daytime routine!
