Today was the best!

I love this photo of my my little man (nephew) and my Daddy! Jon-Christopher heads south to Tennessee as soon as All Stars is over. He then spends the remainder of his summer with Mom and Dad at the lake. He trades is glove, ball, and bat in for a rod, reel, and pontoon! This is how my retired Daddy and little man spend their time, 9-5 (and all day). The challenge at Heart 2 Heart is Working 9-5.  I pulled out my Jackson papers for this one.....

 and was inspired to create this layout using Sketch #162 by Brenda Ragsdale at Sketches in Thyme!

 I used this delightful stamp set to create this masculine card. 

 I thought this set just complimented the Jackson papers perfectly, along with a Kraft base. I used Cocoa ink.

I was inspired by this sketch at Retro Sketches. As you can see, I was inspired but did not hold true to the sketch. I altered to fit the needs of my stamp.

TGIFC #....

Happy Saturday! What are your plans today? I plan to get my house cleaned and spend the rest of the day in the little studio! I have many things I want to get started. I pulled out some Jackson papers and my Artiste to create this masculine card.....

 ....inspired by this fabby sketch over at TGIF! 

This sketch is so very versatile! I wanted something I can use for a guy, since my little man is celebrating his 11th birthday in two weeks. I think this is perfect!
