December Daily 2015...

I finally got some me time to begin my very first ever.....December Daily! I chose a Simple Stories album....that I love!!!! I had purchased some Sleigh Ride from Crate Paper and Bo Bunny Candy Cane Lane for the album.
Here is the cover....
I wanted the inside to have just a bit of decoration....this tree was perfect!
Now, there is a story here....I used the Artiste cartridge to cut this Ho, Ho, Ho and I used my Heidi Swapp Minc Mini to foil it. Can we say I fell in love?!? I also used the fuse to seal the top of the page protector....that is gonna take some practice!
I hope you are enjoying your December Daily and share a link in the comments below to your fabulous creations! I'd love to see!

Sketch~N~Scrap Twistback Thursday

Happy Saturday, Peeps! I am gonna spend the entire day in my little studio! First, I got scarppy time
in this morning and used this sketch form Scrap~N~Sketch
to make this page for Hadley's album.
I am really challenging myself to be more mindful of including my own handwriting on my layouts.
I just scattered some liquid glass covered hearts for a soft embellishment.
This was her first professional photo shoot done during her first month.
All papers and embellies are Primrose from Bo Bunny. The twist is an old item and a new item. The liquid glass on the hearts above, the pink pearls, and the ink are the old items and everything else is new. The flower is Prima and of course, Tim Holtz ink!

Let's Scrap!

Today, I am playing along with this sketch at Let's Scrap Sketches
As I'm still working on Hadley's book, I made a compliment page for one earlier (shown in very last photo). As in the first page, I totally challenged myself to not use any ink at all on this page....feels sooooo naked to me. But I love how clean and simple it is.
Some of the pretty details of the page....
Journal tag. This was the very first photo shoot I did with Hadley. She was 4 months old when we did these photos and already a natural for the camera!
Here is the compliment page....
All papers and embellishments are Bo Bunny Primrose

Some of the simple details on this layout...

Let's Get Sketchy....

Yay!!!! I finally got to scrap! I was inspired by this sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy...
I used Bo Bunny Primrose to create this layout for Hadley's album. I added the 6X6 on turned on a diamond to separate the photo from the patterned paper.
Since this is going to be a Christmas present for my sister-in-law, I added a blank journal tag behind the photo. There is a banner attached so she can pull it out and journal about Hadley's first month. The little pink pearl acts as a stopper so it doesn't come out the other side of the photo.
I also challenged myself to use my own handwriting on the title....
Have a very blessed Sunday!

Let it Snow!

Good Morning,
This morning I'm bringing you the sketch from this last Friday at Practical Scrappers. I love this sketch and can see myself using it time and time again on layouts and cards.
I decided that since I had so many snow photos from this winter, that I had may as well scrap them. This is Ashlea playing in my Gran's yard. She was doing her cheer toe touches. So I aptly named them "snowtouches". She had such a fun time that day.

All paper, stickers, and overlay are Bo Bunny. I used some bling from my stash to go inside the snowflakes. This sketch offers up lots of inspiration, I hope it inspires you!
Have a terrific Tuesday!
Blessings,

Winter Song and a Woot Toot!

Good Morning,
Good news, I am now a proud designer for Frosted Designs! Yippee, I'm so excited to be working with these awesome ladies!
Now, for some more good news, and lots of winners over at Practical Scrappers! We have some awesome things to talk about! Congratulations to the always stunning, Fern for winning the bling challenge. Our top three are Jayma, Clare, and Mandy. Thanks to you all for playing! And if that isn't enough, we had 76 entries, Terry was our winner of a second prize pack! go Terry!!!! Don't forget, the DESIGN TEAM call is still open until Wednesday, January 20th.
Thanks to ALL of YOU for helping us grow and inspire!
It is time for a new challenge at Practical Scrappers. This week we are featuring embossing, any kind of embossing. I had this gorgeous Bo Bunny Serenade paper and lots of snow photos, so I did a snowy layout.
I embossed the all the snowflakes and the title. The embossing is difficult to see on the snowflakes. I tried to zoom in close. I spritzed them with pearl glimmer mist to add some shine and hopefully allow the dimension to be visible. They were cut with the Christmas Solutions cart.

I cut the title with my Storybook title and spritzed them with glimmer mist too.
I hope you are inspired to create along with us this week. Don't forget, I have a Monday link in my side bar to check out the always incredible dt sister's creations. Leave them some love!

Thankful Autumn...

Good Sunday Morning,
This morning I am sharing two 8X8 pages from Ben's fall album. We had taken a trip up in the Jefferson National Forest last year in late October. We visited the beautiful Flag Rock. These photos are taken there. Here it is November, a year later, and just getting the book finished. I think I need to quit my day job so I'll have more time for my hobby! teeee heeee.
We had such a beautiful day to drive and see the glory in God's autumn paint brush. I really Cherish that day we spent together. I hope you all have a blessed upcoming week. Come back tomorrow for some Cafe Mojo, Practical Scrappers, and Digital Ink Co projects.
