Let's Get Sketchy....

Yay!!!! I finally got to scrap! I was inspired by this sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy...
I used Bo Bunny Primrose to create this layout for Hadley's album. I added the 6X6 on turned on a diamond to separate the photo from the patterned paper.
Since this is going to be a Christmas present for my sister-in-law, I added a blank journal tag behind the photo. There is a banner attached so she can pull it out and journal about Hadley's first month. The little pink pearl acts as a stopper so it doesn't come out the other side of the photo.
I also challenged myself to use my own handwriting on the title....
Have a very blessed Sunday!

Cardabilities 108

Good Morning! A quick card inspired this morning by Cardabilities
I came up with this ....
I used die cuts from a Bo Bunny Noteworthy kit and Simple Stories Fabulous papers.
Those bitty pink pearls just add a splash of yumminess.....
Love how the butterfly adds some dimension....
Have a terrific Sunday

Sketch #131

My reveal day at Sketches in Thyme! Today, I chose to put my own little shabby spin on our current sketch. I created this layout for my Hadley's book. This captures the very first time my brother and sister-in-law first saw Miss Hadley!
I stamped the title....love how it came out....looks better in person.
Can't have shabby without a doily....Hidden journal tag pulls out there.
and here is our current sketch. Hop on over to Sketches in Thyme....awesome sponsors this month!!!!

MIA....

Hey peeps, I have been MIA for a week and a few days. I just started the most rewarding job, EVER!!!! I am a public school teacher (13 years) and just began working with special needs adults. OMG!!!!! I knew I needed a career away from and free of "the assessment", my teacher friends know what I mean. The 2 weeks I have spent with these clients have literally changed my life!!!! So, hopefully, today I can get some much needed scrappy time in my studio and have some things to share this week.... Have a Blessed Sunday
