Together....

I pulled out the Paper Garden stamp set (the current stamp of the month)  and my Artiste cartridge. 

 And this is the finished product....using Sangria papers and Workshop on the Go stamp. 

 I had so much fun stamping, shaping, and layering these flowers. 

 Here is a better view of the layers of the shaped flowers.

I really enjoyed this sketch with a twist!

Color Dare #157...

I wanted to play along this week with the Color Dare #157. Beautiful palette to work with....

I came up with this....I used a Kraft base, cut the doily from the Elegant Edges cartridge, pulled out some long gone, but still beautiful butterflies, hemp, and pearls. I used the current Framed SOM sentiment.

Artistry Meets Stamp of the Month....

I needed a quick "Thank You" for my best friend. I had an early meeting this morning and had told her I would just make muffins and fruit for a light breakfast for my meeting. She came in to the office with Overnight French Toast, fresh out of the oven . She said, I just wanted to make something for your meeting. Isn't that just the sweetest friend?!!! She loves to shop online and she loves coffee....

So I created this fun card....

and I put a $25 Pay Pal card inside so she can treat herself to something "sweet"! 

This card and the gift card pocket was cut using the new Critcut Artistry cartridge and Zoe papers.

You & Me...

I am down to the scraps of some of my Zoe papers. What do you do with scraps? Make banners!!!! I used the Artistry cartridge to cut the shape banner and stamped it in Whisper. This card is for the hubby, so I went more masculine. AND this just happens to be the exact color combo over at Color My Heart Color Dare this week! 

The stamp I used is a stamp that is exclusive to the Artistry collection. You will see it in the upper right corner in the photo below.

Zoe Sympathy Crad

Just posting a very quick sympathy card today for a co-worker. This stamp is retired but it is my go-to when I need a sympathy card. Those words are so reassuring to me.  

I used the softer side of Zoe with some small dovetails strips in the other patterns and to tie it all together the glacier twine and touch of coral shimmer trim is the perfect touch.

If you follow me....then you know white.....is not my style. However, some of my favorite designers use white all the time. So Juliet Sherriff  (QUEEN of white) ....please go easy on me until I get the hang of...."White". :) 

Anyways, this card was inspired in part by all the grey and yellow things I have been seeing and LOVE! Also, by the latest sketch at CAS(E)

I pulled out this stamp set from my stash and love how those colors look!

Happy Thursday! Playing along today with CAS(E) #105. Love the sketch and of course, I had to join along! 

 I dug deep into the stash to pull out these MME scraps from many years ago to create a Valentine's Day card for my "Sweet"...

 I am and have always been a huge fan of MME. I just hoard every little scrap until I'm left with unusable pieces. Here is the finished card....I love the feel of this one.

Happy Days.....

My first card of 2015! I love this sketch over at Sketch~N~Scrap!

We are currently at wind chills of -5 degrees and the actual temperature is 10 degrees....brrrr!!!! So....I wanted to do something that reminded me of warm sunny (or warm rainy) days. Keeping to my resolution, I dug into my stash and pulled out some Chantilly papers and compliments. 

I turned the sketch to the side and even dug into the embossing powder and added corner elements.

Popped some foam tape behind the banner and umbrella for a little dimension. 

I love how happy digging in my stash makes me! Almost like a kid digging deep into his toy box and finding his long lost most cherished action figure, hee hee!

Sketch~N~Scrap #34

Happy Monday peeps!!!! I hope you are all ready for a fantastic week. Cooler temps are headed our as fall comes in. Today I am sharing a card that was inspired by Sketch #34 at Sketch N Scrap. 

 I used a scrap base paper from MME Bramble Rose and Hello Tweety stamp from CTMH

 You will notice I rotated the sketch to the right 90 degrees and just went wild with the little flourish stamp in this set.... love the birds also. Of course, if you know me, you know it was kind of "naked" before the bit of bling (Bo Bunny).

heart & soul....

 I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend! I was inspired to play with this card sketch over at Sketch~N~Scrap....

I decided to go straight to the scrap boxes for this card. What better way to use up bits and pieces that you just can't bring yourself to throw away?!!! I used a black base for the card so these yummy colors would really pop. All these patterned papers literally were just scraps...but I knew I would use them one day, hee hee...today was the day.
