Happy Birthday....

After spending the entire morning at the doctor with the hubby, I came home and just went to the room to play!  I wanted a very clean, simple, and fun card. 

 This card was inspired by this super cute sketch over at Freshly Made.....

Love how simple and cute it is! 

Supplies: Kraft, Confetti Wishes, and Topiary Striped Washi.

Mojo Monday 405....

I love this sketch at Mojo Monday! 

So my sweet and beautiful leader, Brenda Rose threw out a challenge to me to pull those old, and I mean OLD CTMH papers out and create....so I did! 

 This card is using the Free Spirit Level 2 paper pack. Who remembers levels? Yea, I said it was old! 

I also pulled out some older CTMH bakers twine, bling, and a button for this one. The stamp is Keep Your Chin Up. I just won that stamp from Brenda.  So, I thought it was appropriate to include it on this card.

Feeling Sketchy # 114

Happy Monday! I have been out of town for a few days and just now getting to my little studio to create! I was inspired to create a card using this sketch from Feeling Sketchy.

I used some Hopscotch papers from CTMH and two stamps to create this "sweet" card.

A little close up of the sentiment and the twine. I am so in love with this paper

Such juicy and vibrant colors....reminding me that Spring is on her way!

You're Sweet...

Good morning peeps! Sharing this sketch from Sketch N Scrap. 

 I used some Heartstrings and this fun Forever in My Heart stamp set to create this card. 

It is very simple....but I really do love the finished product!

Yay! I love this awesome new sketch up at Let's Scrap Sketches. So many fun things you can do with it!!!! 

 I went straight to the bits and pieces I had left of this Buzz and Bumble WOTG from CTMH to create this card. 

I rotated to the side and used my very old Creative Memories hexagon punch, scraps of paper, and some Frayed Burlap Tim Holtz ink. I think this is now my fave little card of all time.

Happy Days.....

My first card of 2015! I love this sketch over at Sketch~N~Scrap!

We are currently at wind chills of -5 degrees and the actual temperature is 10 degrees....brrrr!!!! So....I wanted to do something that reminded me of warm sunny (or warm rainy) days. Keeping to my resolution, I dug into my stash and pulled out some Chantilly papers and compliments. 

I turned the sketch to the side and even dug into the embossing powder and added corner elements.

Popped some foam tape behind the banner and umbrella for a little dimension. 

I love how happy digging in my stash makes me! Almost like a kid digging deep into his toy box and finding his long lost most cherished action figure, hee hee!

Sketch 137...

Happy New Year!!!! I'm up today at Sketches in Thyme with this fab sketch by, Bev Code. 

This also fits the challenge over at Lasting Memories for Life's Simple Pleasures.....

 This is the end result of me "playing" with ink..... 

I challenged myself to only use ink and a bit of glitter behind the photos. I used Watermelon CTMH ink on kraft paper. Then I had to add a bit of glitter glue to make it shine.... 

Stamped my title using the Circus alphas....

 Finished it off with some Smoothie Washi, staples, and bling.....

Sketch~N~Scrap #34

Happy Monday peeps!!!! I hope you are all ready for a fantastic week. Cooler temps are headed our as fall comes in. Today I am sharing a card that was inspired by Sketch #34 at Sketch N Scrap. 

 I used a scrap base paper from MME Bramble Rose and Hello Tweety stamp from CTMH

 You will notice I rotated the sketch to the right 90 degrees and just went wild with the little flourish stamp in this set.... love the birds also. Of course, if you know me, you know it was kind of "naked" before the bit of bling (Bo Bunny).

I decided to do a layout with photos I took of Ashlea at the end of junior high this May. I love these photos and was waiting for just the right inspiration. Bev's sketch was it!!!! 

 Recipe: CTMH~Clair Workshop on the go, wooden mini medley, and sorbet fibers twine. I used Ranger Distress Ink in Walnut, the flower, muslin, and burlap ribbon are from Recollections. Icut the little twisty curls from the Cricut Artiste. The rub-ons were just in my old stash.

Sketch~N~Scrap Card

Today I used the sketch from August 5, at Sketch~N~Scrap ....

 to challenge myself to create a card using both scraps on my table....and to NOT USE ink (except the sentiment)!!! It feels so clean....for my "inky" style. Sweet little simple card..

All supplies are CTMH~~Papers~ Chalk it Up, bitty blings, washi tape, and an old stamp set from CTMH.
