grow....

Good Morning,
As we all begin a new week, we at Practical Scrappers are welcoming some new extremely talented ladies. Our new designers are: Amanda, Jayma, Corinna, Barb, Caroline, Catherine, Clare, Deanne, and Fern. Welcome aboard ladies and I'm so looking forward to getting to know you all better! (I have them linked up in my PS blog roll if you want to check them out).
Before I share this week's challenge, I want to say another HUGE thank you to the 100+ entries we had this past week on our patterned paper challenge! Whew, we are loving it!!!!! :) Our winner and top three this week are, Elizabeth, Susie, Natalie, and Jane. Congratulations ladies!
Thank you all for helping to grow Practical Scrappers, I know that I am learning from each of you upon every single visit! You all inspire me so very much and I'm so proud to be a part of this inspirational team!
So, now on to the new challenge, we are asking you to use die cutting systems on your layout. It doesn't matter what brand you use, just put something cut from a machine on your project. I got to use some more of my yummy Felicity paper from CTMH for this one. The circle was precut. I used my Home Decor Solutions cart to cut that dainty frame. The rest of my cuts were from the Ashlyn cart. I used the icons to cut the butterflies and the flourishes. I then used the cursive font on it to cut the title. I wanted to add a little pizazz to it, so I used the diamond stickles to add a sparkle to the butterflies, the flourishes, and the title. Of course, I had to add some distressing ink to all the edges. I know it may be hard to tell in the photo, but the butterflies wings are curled up and appear to be in flight.
I hope you are inspired to create with your die cutting system this week! Don't forget to check out the incredible inspiration from my DT sister's. I have them linked up on my blog roll in the side bar.
Blessings,
