Rose Blossom Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Happy September 1!!! That means the kick off to a brand new Annual Inspirations catalog at Close to My Heart! It also means it is time for .....
featuring "Paper Garden".

If you have come from Mary's Pixie Dust Playground, you are in the right place. If you are just now beginning your hop, don't worry there will be a list at the end with links to all the wonderful Rose Blossoms!
I chose to stamp with the two smallest stamps in the set to create this sunset card for my Uncle.
I stamped them in Gypsy ink, as my new inks have not arrived yet... I used the two smallest "twigy" images and just stamped away the silhouette of a filed of wild flowers.....
I really got to play around with this sunset card. I used daubers, Sunset ink and the new Saffron paper and some blending to create this effect. To get the sun, I simply used a 3/4 inch circle punch on a scarp piece of cardstock covered with washi. I put the washi where I wanted and inked around it, creating a mask.
I chose to use the beautiful new Sangria papers for this card.
