Lucky Girl Blog Party Day 1...

Good Morning,
Today is day one of our September Blog Party over at Lucky Girl Craft Kits. Check out what we have to offer in our Falling for You kit....
Such a beautiful kit and packed with gorgeous blooms, ribbons, and divine papers!!!!
Here is my first layout for this kit. Everything on this page came from the kit, the only thing I added was a bit of ink to the flower to blend the color a bit and just a touch to the paper ribbon.
This layout is of my handsome oldest nephew, Tyler on his Senior Prom back in 2009, see, I'm waaaay behind! But I absolutely adore these photos of him and his little date. I took these photos before the prom. We had just had a huge rain storm and it stopped just long enough to travel to this 100+ year old church for photos.

  6. Our family tradition is going to grammie and poppy's for thanksgiving. We used to go to a Christmas tree farm in their small town also, but it closed a few years ago.

  10. My family celebrates "Pie Day" over labor day weekend. It originally was the celebration of my great grandmother's birthday and everyone they knew would go to there farm and bring pies to eat. Now, it's much smaller but we still try to celebrate every year by making pies and eating them together.

Wow Kim! Gorgeous layout!! And those pictures look pretty enough that I thought they were wedding photos. :)

Our fav fall tradition is to picnic up high on a bluff overlooking a river here where you can see for miles & miles. The trees are ablaze with color & it's so gorgeous!

  15. My fav family tradition is that we go away dec 26 every year. Sometimes it is close by and spend 1 or 2 nights somewhere or sometimes we go really far away. We do it to get away and relax after all of the Christmas excitement.

  16. Beautiful LO! I guess our fall tradition is to go to the Halloween camp party. The state park in our hometown has a huge party the weekend of Halloween each year. You have to sign up a year in advance to be a part of this party! My mom/dad decorate their area with EVERYTHING---webs, tombstones, lights, etc. They get dressed up and the kids go around and gather treats. It's super fun!

  17. Beautiful layout my friend! Adore the pictures of your nephew! The expression on his face is priceless! I love this September kit. I actually bought one this morning and threw in a few of the sale items! My favorite fall family tradition is the paining of the pumpkins. Ever since my kids were little, I always bought pumpkins for them to pain and decorate. They still do it today and they are 20 and 23. We do however carve one also.
