Oh how this would brighten my spirits! What a beautiful kit! I can already envision what I would create with it! As for my favorite Christmas tradition, that would be making cut out sugar cookies. It all started when my mom first got married and found a recipe in a magazine. She still has the original page. We all gather together every year and make the cookies. Fifty plus years and still going strong!

ReplyDeleteI have 2 favorite traditions...the 1st is cutting down our own tree..and the 2nd is setting up our lighted Christmas village. Thanks again!
:-D
We listen to The Grinch Who Stole Christmas while decorating the tree. This year we start a new tradition by staying home December 25th, and cooking a dinner with our little girls. Just the 4 of us. We will visit family on the 24th and the 26th, but the 25th is ours.
ReplyDeleteI am always inspired by your work Kim, but mostly your kind heart touches me the most.
Hugs

Oooo I really want!!! I am a faithful follower and love seeing your work!!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite Christmas tradition is one that began when I was little. We always decorate the tree on December 1st, even if it in in the middle of the week. We also put on the Boney M christmas album while we decorate. My favourite thing to do : )
I'm following and always love your work. I also love how much you adore your hubby...that is so evident and so cool!!!
ReplyDeleteOne of my fav holiday traditions began when my kids were really little and we would get to my mom's for a formal dinner and then DH's mom's for another big dinner. We were all turkey'd and ham'd out. So I would let my kids choose anything they wanted for CHristmas dinner...anything. So it was often meatballs, baked mac & cheese, popcorn shrimp, nachos & cheese and the like. Not traditonal for sure. They still make the same requests, with a couple different ones thrown in from time to time. :)
That kit is delicious! A favorite holiday tradition of ours is that we open family presents on Christmas Eve and "Santa" comes on Christmas morning. Everyone's so excited about gifts that they don't want to wait for morning, so we don't! Thanks for a chance to win the kit!

Hi Ya Kim!
ReplyDeleteFirst I'm not a follower and would love to be but don't know how? I love your work and your blog! I would love to create some cards with that yummy candy! Such a generous thing to do!
Every year I hide what change I have collected in the year and changed to bills of course in diffrent items in the stockings! One year I cracked walnuts carefully and put bills inside and crazy glued back together it was a hoot! I totally love decorating my home with the things my mom has painted, and remembering her. This will be my 2nd Christmas without her. Even she loved the walnut thing and every year since my dc were around 3 we have had silly putty in the stockings...they are now 30 and 33 and still look forward to that silly tradition..go figure!
