I Miss You...

Oh what a day the Lord has made! We are having the most beautiful weather this weekend. The sun is shinning brightly and the temps are about 90. Much too pretty to be inside. My post today is a card for Get Sketchy. This is their first week of challenges. I'll ask you to go over and check it out. They are offering a fabulous Crop Suey kit as a prize this week. Creations By Penny New Release....

Yippee, it's finally Friday and I have finished my first week of school, whew! :) I want to say, I LOVE my kids already. We have 63 in all and they are soooo sweet. I don't like all the 'pressure' of getting back into the routine, but I LOVE getting new students, seeing that eagerness to learn. Kids, if you're reading, I just know this year is going to be the best.

So, now on to the important stuff in bloggy land. Penny has a new set of digi stamps being released, the Turtle set. You can find them at Creations by Penny. She has designed the most adorable turtles, flowers, trees, and rainbows for this set. They're perfect for cards and scrapbooking too. Go on over and check it out. I'm giving this card to my MIL for her birthday on Saturday. I really wanted to use "slow down, relax, enjoy, it's your day" on the card. It's your day is on the inside. My MIL has a fun personality and I wanted to reflect that in her card.

Happy Saturday Ladies,

I'm doing a very fast post this morning as I'm on my way shopping for back to school. Here is another layout I did for Practical Scrappers first challenge to use eyelets. I chose to enter a different layout instead. What I did like about this one was how easy it was to do. I just popped eyelets in the flowers cut the title and butterfly from the cricut, attached the butterfly with eyelets and I had an "adorable" page!

If it's Monday, it's time for Practical Scrappers first challenge! Yippee!!! Our first neglected supply item is eyelets. Your challenge is to use at least five on your project. Let's face it ladies, we all have a stash of eyelets that we've had since we began scrapping. Well, there is plenty of fantastic inspiration provided by our design teams to get your mojo flowing.
