To Everything There Is A Season...

Good Morning,
I hope everyone is having a good week. I've been back to school since Tuesday, the first time since December 18th!!! It's been a busy week. We've missed two weeks of instruction and trying to push it in. Whew.....I'm happy to be back with my kiddos though. So, if I'm not making a daily read on your blog, you'll understand why.

It is with a sad occasion that I share a card today. I was in a meeting with my Principal after school yesterday. He told me that he and his wife had found out they were having a second baby. They had kept it hush until Christmas. They shared the happy news with everyone then. On the Monday after Christmas, she lost the baby. I've known him for over 25 years. She was 10 weeks. I can't imagine what they are going through. My sister, the little kids mother, lost her first baby in 1996. She was 28 weeks. We had to go through birth and burial. That was the hardest thing I've ever faced. I had this card already made and this verse is always so comforting to me when my heart aches from loss.

I too cannot even fathom losing a baby, nor what your sister went through having to carry that precious baby the full nine months. My heart goes out to every family who's had to go through this. Prayers for them..xoxo

  11. Ohhhh what a sad post Kim! I have tears in my eyes.
How awful for your sister too. My first child was born in 1996...to loose the baby at 28 weeks...how devastating!
Your card is elegant and heartfelt.

  12. What a sad situation to have to go through. My hubby's niece lost not one but both of her twins at two different times after giving birth to them. It was hard. This is truly beautiful. As you can see I am a bit behind on my blog visiting!
