Merry Christmas...

Happy Friday to you!
Today is a new challenge at Humble Pie Stamps. This week the Bakers have a round card design for you to play around with. We are also all previewing more of the yummy new Sweetie Pie images! Don't forget, today is the last day of the blop. You still have until 11:59 PM tonight to leave a comment on this post to be eligible for my candy.
I wanted to use this adorable wreath for my round card. I colored it up with my watercolors and blending pen. Then I used the embossing powder. Every ornament has either clear, gold, silver, or bronze embossing powder over it. I wanted to add the sparkle and shine to it. I just couldn't get it to photograph very well. I also wanted to add the ribbon to give a little 3D touch to it. Come on over and play with us this week! As always, the prize is $10 in Maggie Money!

Merry Christmas Recipe:

cardstock and ink-CTMH
image and sentiment-Humble Pie
Cuttlebug-Swiss Dots
embossing powders-clear, gold, silver, bronze

I am sending this card to Noah, he is a 5 year old who is dying from cancer. He has a wish to receive as many Christmas cards as he can. Because he is at home on Hospice, his family is celebrating Christmas this weekend. My good friend, Di posted this video on her blog. Please watch it and make a card to send. Here is Noah's address:

  1. Love it. I don't see many round cards that I like, but I like what you did with this card. I should really try making a round one, I just can't seem to bring myself to do it... lol

  2. Oh sure just what I needed to start bawling at work LOL - these little guys just break my heart - heard of Noah yesterday and have added him to my list of "must dos" - Love the circle card - I'm so not good at the circle cards - I think in straight lines LOL Which is odd because I'm such a curvy girl!
