I decided that since I had already created a video showing how to use these cards in your planner, that I would use them on a layout, as layers. This is what I had when I finished.....
This photo shows the journal card, the Be Happy card as a layer/title and the little strips I cut to create the banners.
I used a strip of one of the cards and just a pretty piece of our new black ribbon to balance the black of the Hello element.
I even used the polka dot (that was left from cutting the Hello out) to create a banner and placed some washi on it.
Of course, I had to use some bits of gold.... I am a bling girl for sure!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic layout! (And such a beautiful picture!) Love the details, and the bling (we bling girls have to stick together....) I've been thinking about doing daily kind of album this year and I think this layout may have pushed me from "thinking" to doing! Thanks for the inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteKim this layout is simply beautiful! I love the way you layered the cards as a backdrop for your pretty photo. This would be a great album title page for a 2016 album. Perfectly designed.
