Happy Columbus Day!
I hope this is a holiday for you! Our Fall Break is over and I'm back to school today. The students will not come today. We are having a Professional Development day for teachers. Last year's test scores are back....
Anyways, it is Monday and that means reveal day at Practical Scrappers! Have you been there this week? Lots of exciting new changes going on! First, we're not a blogspot and longer. Now we are practicalscrappers.com. We have a fun new message board where you can chat and share layouts, cards, recipes, and just get to know one another. Go check it out! Oh, and the DT Call is still going on until the end of October. We have added some new faces, be sure to read about them, visit their blogs, and leave a welcome note!
So without further ado, here is my layout for this challenge. Our supply item this week is lace cardstock. I just happen to have this yummy lace stock and decided to use it with some Wild Saffron from K & Co. Everything just came together so quickly on this one. I decided to bling it up too. These photos were taken at the Breaks Interstate Park last September (2008). My Ashlea was walking down a trail looking for squirrels. We came to this little fork in the path, I knew I wanted to do a layout using this quote as the title. I took the photos hoping these would work for that title and they did! I don't know if you can tell, I sanded the edges of my photos to add some distressing. Let me know what you think about this one!
