Better Living Through Scrapbooking Challenge #1
This week’s challenge is to Scrapbook your scrapbooking!
Yep, you heard that right. We want you to create a layout or other paper crafting project that showcases some aspect of your scrapbooking hobby.
Chose at least two of the following for your project:
1. Journal about how you’ve achieved “better living through scrapbooking”.
2. Use at least 3 photos of your scrap space.
3. Use the title “I Scrap, Therefore…” (finish the statement in your journaling.)
4. Create a scrapbook layout using photos of your scrapbooks.
5. Have someone take a photo of you surrounded by your supplies, then use that photo as the main image on your page.

6. Create a mini-album “tour” of your scrap room.
7. Journal a list of your ten “can’t live without” scrapbooking tools/supplies

Here is the layout I created with my awesome Lucky Girl August Old School Kit

I chose to journal my can't live without supplies and to use three photos of my scrap space.

I keep clicking and enlarging your pic so I could see your craft room.
Great job with the layout and using the old school kit.
Let's see and old, old ,old school memory.
I enjoyed that I could have one day every month we could wear our own clothes, see I wore a uniform at my Catholic school every day...I was a real tom boy so I always wore pants so I could show the boys how fast I could run! Silly what we remember.
    Congratulations again sweetie!

  8. Congrats Kim - taking another one one you brave soul you! Looking forward to seeing even more of your lovely layouts! Now for an old, and I am serious when I saw old; school memory . . . Back when I was in junior high (middle school nowadays) I can remember the first day we were allowed to wear pants to school. No jeans, I'm talking serious down to earth pants that you had to wear either with a vest or suit jacket. We all thought we had died and gone to heaven!!!
It wasn't until I started high school that we were allowed to wear jeans. My how times have changed!

  9. I've been following your blog through RSS feed. Just realized I haven't been following publicly through Google. So, I am now! :-) Congrats on your new DT position! You certainly deserve it! My favorite old school memory: when I was young, I was in a spelling bee--I did really well until it came time for the word "downtown" (not even a hard one). I quickly spelled out "D O N, T O N" My teacher gave me a 2nd chance because she knew that I was nervous--I did the exact same thing! I laugh to this day about it! :-) Thanks for a chance to win!!!

  14. OH--and my fav memory from school is being in the same grade as my older brother. We were sooooooo close in age and because I talked so much, he was held back in preschool because he wasn't "socially ready". We always called each other the twin--and people STILL to this day in our tiny town (of 2000) ask my mom how the twins are doing! HA! LOVE IT:)
